Xenophobia in SA increases as police arrest 70 suspects in Johannesburg, Pretoria



The South African government said it has captured 70 suspects regarding the xenophobic assaults on Nigerians and other remote nationals.


The suspects were grabbed in Johannesburg and Pretoria while plundering property having a place with outsiders.


The acting South African High Commissioner to Nigeria, Bobby Moroe, unveiled this during a gathering with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyema, in Abuja, today.


He clarified that the assailants additionally torched Shoprite and Spar, noticing that the SA government "has met the challenge at hand."
