A woman who just gave her name as Gladys has described how a police officer assaulted her as a precondition to helping her rescue her significant other.
Gladys who hails from the Northern piece of Ghana said she headed out to Nkwanta in the Oti Region after hearing that her better half was in detainment.
She described approaching a police officer for settlement inside the police sleeping enclosure, realizing that she would be protected since there was no preferred spot for security over a police headquarters.
“In my mind, I knew I would be safer in a police station so I asked the police officer for a place to lay my head so I can follow the case the next morning, and indeed he provided me with one,” she said on Nhyira FM’s Obra show.
Gladys said the police officer sneaked into her room late in the night and forcefully had canal knowledge of her.
“He came to my room when I was still awake, lifted me from the plastic chair I was sitting on and tore my dress. He raped me countless times; all night long until I became weak. I cried my eyes out after the ordeal,” Gladys narrated amidst tears.
As indicated by Gladys, the cop being referred to advised her not to endeavor shouting on the grounds that the sleeping shelter was one loaded up with his subordinates who won't trust her on the off chance that she blamed him for anything.
Gladys disclosed that she neglected to report the official to the specialists since he took steps to intensify her significant other's case on the off chance that she did any such thing.
