Jamie Vardy has won the Golden Boot award for the first time after his total of 23 Premier League goals in 2019/20 proved unassailable on the final day.
The 33-year-old is the first Leicester City player to claim the award and is only the second Englishman after Harry Kane to take the crown in the last 20 years.
Vardy led the race going into the final day but he could not add to his 23 goals as his side lost 2-0 against Manchester United.
Danny Ings started Matchweek 38 two goals behind Vardy.
The Southampton striker scored a penalty for the first time in this campaign with six minutes left as they beat Sheffield United 3-1 but he could not find the net again as he missed out on his first Golden Boot by one goal.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored twice on the final day to reach 22 goals last season and he did exactly the same thing this time round.
While a total of 22 was good enough for a share of the Golden Boot in 2018/19, he just missed out this time, despite his first-half double in Arsenal's 3-2 win over Watford.
