Pupils to get free breakfast (cocoa drink) as part school feeding program


Recipient of the Ghana School Feeding Program (GSFP) will before long be served free cocoa drinks for breakfast from August this year.


This was revealed by the Acting National Coordinator of GSFP, Gertrude Quashigah at a local limit building preparing workshop for food providers, prepares and area sustenance officers at Wa in the Upper West Region.


As per Mrs Quashigah, the cocoa drink will be served to the understudies notwithstanding their dinners for good nourishment.


Mrs Quashigah additionally alluded to specific moves being made to improve the nature of dinners served to the understudies, welfare of the food providers, just as the extension and supportability of the program to profit increasingly Ghanaian kids.


The preparation program, named: 'Imaginative Nutrition Initiative', is under the topic: 'Improving School Meals through Capacity-Building' and is intended for preparing food providers and their head concocts to gauge to the required quality models of getting ready nutritious dinners for the understudies.
