The President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Ahmad, was captured on Thursday morning in a Paris lodging by French police.
As indicated by French newspaper Jeune Afrique, Ahmad's capture is connected to the agreement singularly broken by CAF with the German gear producer Puma to draw in with the organization Technical Steel, situated in La Seyne-sur-Mer.
The marking of an agreement which, as indicated by the previous secretary general of CAF Amr Fahmy, was supported by the closeness between Ahmad and one of the pioneers of the French organization, whose extra expense would achieve 830 000 dollars.
The claims against Ahmad pursue a series of outrages identified with FIFA's practices in Latin America and Asia as of late, which have prompted the arraignment and imprisoning of various senior football directors.
Ahmad has reliably denied any wrong doing and kept up his blamelessness.
He was grabbed in the wake of going to the FIFA Congress, which brought about the re-appointment of President Gianni Infantino.
